Overview
After picking you up from the Hotel or Airport, this safari takes you to the nearby Lake Naivasha where you will enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha that will take you to Crescent Island for a walking safari – one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals as there are no predators. One can see pelicans, cormorants, cranes, marabou storks, geese and a lot of other bird varieties in large numbers. One can also see hippos in the lake.
Day 1
- 0630hrs: Pick up from the Airport or Hotel
- 0700hrs: Leave for Naivasha Stop at The Rift Valley View Point for pictures.
- 1000hrs: Arrive at Lake Naivasha.
- Enjoy an hour the boat ride that will end up with a Crescent Island visit.
- 1330hrs: Lunch is served at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort/ Have picnic lunch
- 1430hrs: Continue with birdwatching
- 1600hrs: Leave for Nairobi
- 1800hrs: Drop off at the Airport or Hotel
