Overview
Ol Pejeta is the largest black rhino sanctuary in east Africa, and home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino. It is the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees, in a Sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from the black market. It has some of the highest predator densities in Kenya, and still manages a very successful livestock programme.
Day 1
- We will pick you up from the airport/ Resident Hotel for Olpejeta Conservancy the fertile highlands of the central Kenya. On the way you will enjoy roadside markets with different kinds of items which include fish, fruits, vegetables as well as some of the Kenya’s largest plantations of pineapples and orchids, Great views of Aberdares and mount Kenya as a well as serene green enviroment.
- You will arrive in time for lunch and check in at the camp.
- You will later embark on an afternoon game drive and enjoy your first game drive where you will have the opportunity to view the big 5 as well as the other plain animals.
- Drive back to your Camp for Dinner and overnight stay.

- After Breakfast The full day will be spent exploring the larger part of Olpejeta as well as a visit to the only chimpanzees sanctuary all rescued from the black markets trade, we will also have a chance to visit Baraka the blind rhino, for a chance to feed/ interact with him.
- Lunch will later be served hot from your Camp and later extend for an afternoon game drive till sunsets.
- Dinner and overnight stay at your Camp.

- After breakfast we will have a short morning game drive and drive out of the park with a short stopover at the Equator Marker sign where you will have a chance to cross both North and south hemispheres.
- We will later on drive to nairobi where you will be dropped back at your resident hotel or airport.
