Welcome to Pretoria a place popularly known as Tshwane or the Jacaranda city because of the beautiful blossoming tree-lines around the town. Pretoria is situated just outside of Johannesburg, which is less than an hour away. Tswane boasts about being one of the Capital Cities in South Africa and also the cultural sites it has to display. Embark on a journey to Union Buildings where the official seats of the National Government and the official offices of the Presidency are situated. You will have an opportunity to go around the Union Building to view the statues and monuments. After your visit to the Union building, you will embark on a journey up to the Voortrekker Monument; this particular monument was built to honor the Afrikaners (apartheid-era) who left the “Cape Colony” in thousands. On the tour again, you will visit Freedom Park. Freedom Park is a very significant center that prides itself on the history of our country.
