Il nostro gruppo di 6 persone ha davvero apprezzato il nostro viaggio di 12 giorni in Kenya. È andato tutto molto bene ed è stato esattamente il mix che avevamo richiesto: avventura, autenticità e tempo al mare.
A partire dal giro in bicicletta nel Parco Nazionale di Hell’s Gate, con paesaggi incredibili e i nostri primi avvistamenti di animali! Il lodge nel Maasai Mara dove abbiamo soggiornato per 2 notti era fantastico: atmosfera splendida e cibo davvero eccellente. Il safari è stato incredibile.
Il villaggio Maasai è stato interessante, ma è sembrato un po’ troppo turistico. A Kisumu non ci siamo sentiti sempre a nostro agio. La Foresta di Kakamega, bellissima, anche se abbiamo visto meno fauna di quanto ci aspettassimo.
La visita all’orfanotrofio è stata davvero straordinaria: ci siamo divertiti molto a giocare e ballare con i bambini.
Nairobi: Hotel molto bello ed in centro; e la festa di Capodanno al Carnivore Restaurant è stata incredibile. Lamu ci ha regalato momenti indimenticabili. L’hotel bellissimo e Caroline, la receptionist, è stata eccellente. La gita in barca è stata stupenda: mangiare insieme sulla barca con le mani e quel pesce… fantastico. Manda Toto è stato meraviglioso e avvistare un delfino è stata la ciliegina sulla torta.
Abbiamo apprezzato Lamu più di Diani Beach (anche a causa delle maree che abbiamo trovato a Diani). Ali Barbour’s Cave Restaurant (quello dentro la grotta naturale, è stato straordinario.
Una menzione speciale per Tony: una guida davvero eccellente, molto attenta, preparata, coinvolgente.
È stato un viaggio davvero bellissimo e intenso, pieno di ricordi. Grazie per averlo organizzato e per averci supportato, per la vostra pazienza e per aver risposto a tutte le nostre domande. È sicuramente un’esperienza che porteremo con noi ancora per molto tempo.

We’ve just returned from a 10-day safari+beach holiday in Kenya and had a fantastic experience with Go Africa. From our first emails with Milly all the way through our airport drop-off at the end of the trip, everything ran smoothly and was very well organized.
Our driver and guide, George, was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the national parks and wildlife, we were lucky enough to spot the Big Five multiple times. A special highlight was our stay at the Safari Camp in the Masai Mara, it was excellent.
Our hotel in Nairobi was beautiful and the staff was very attentive, but it felt a little too “boutique” for our taste. We tend to prefer larger hotels, something more along the lines of a Marriott.
Overall, it was an amazing trip and a great safari experience!

Excellent value, limited vegan food in one of the hotels

We spent 21 incredible days traveling across Kenya & Tanzania. We had the time of our lives. Everything felt easy and well taken care of from the very first communication. The accommodations were wonderful, the planning was seamless, and our guides were not only knowledgeable but genuinely great people to spend time with. We saw so much, experienced so much, and loved every minute of it. The only small issue was that I’m vegan, and the hotel in Naivasha didn’t have many vegan options; hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, it was an amazing holiday! We had a blast!

Wonderful trip! Also, Milly was brilliant with the organisation. When we sent over our passports, she even noticed that my husband would be celebrating his birthday during the trip. She thoughtfully arranged for the camp to prepare a cake and sing to him in Swahili, such a lovely touch. My husband loved it!

Milly was incredibly supportive throughout the entire planning process. She responded promptly to our emails and WhatsApp messages.
We spent three unforgettable days at the Masai Mara, the camp was simply fantastic! George the driver made the experience even more special with his great sense of humor and his impressive knowledge of the region and wildlife. The last part of the trip was even better, Lamu is simply beautiful. We're glad we took Milly's recommendation as we didn't know where in the cost we wanted to go. Our package included a full day excursion to Manda Toto, I'd say was on the the highlight of our trip. We ate fish on the boat, did some snorkelling, and even saw a dolphin! What a holiday!

From our very first chat, Milly was absolutely lovely, warm, switched on, and full of great advice we’d never have thought of ourselves. We landed in Nairobi at the crack of dawn and had planned to chill at the hotel before starting safari the next day. But we were wide awake and full of energy, so we dropped a message in our WhatsApp group with Milly asking whether to visit Sheldrick or the giraffe centre. She sprang into action straightaway and had a driver come and collect us in no time. She confidently steered us towards the giraffe centre and suggested going at the exact time Sheldrick opens. Her logic? Everyone would be at Sheldrick (as it only opens for an hour), leaving the giraffe centre nice and quiet. She was spot on. We practically had it to ourselves while Sheldrick was overcrowded, and we left just as the crowds rolled in. Perfect timing. Such a brilliant start to our Kenya adventure, the kids were over the moon. The rest of the trip was off the charts. George, our guide, was equally fantastic: friendly, patient, and professional, always going the extra mile to spot as much wildlife as possible. We couldn’t have asked for better, really

We spent 10 amazing days in Kenya visiting Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara, and Diani.
Our driver was phenomenally knowledgeable, reliable, and with an incredible eye for spotting wildlife even at a distance. Every lodge exceeded our expectations, especially the Masai Mara Camp, the view was just wow! The Diani beachfront hotel deserves mentioning too.
Amboseli was a total surprise! It wasn’t in our bucket list initially, but it stole the show! with incredible elephant herds walking right past our vehicle and a fascinating visit to a Maasai village.
The trip was perfectly organized, completely stress free, and exceeded every expectation.

Our group of 6 people really enjoyed our 12 day trip to Kenya. It went really very well and it was exactly the mix we had asked for: Adventure, authenticity and beach time
Starting with the bike ride at Hell's Gate National Park, incredible scenery and our first animal sightings!
The Maasai Mara lodge where we stayed for two nights was fantastic: beautiful atmosphere, and really excellent food. The safari was incredible. .
The Maasai Village was interesting but felt a bit touristy.
Kisumu felt a bit too raw, and we didn’t always feel completely at ease. Kakamega Forest was beautiful and fascinating, with a very kind and knowledgeable guide, even though we saw less wildlife than we had expected. Visiting the orphanage was truly amazing: we had a lot of fun with the kids.
A special mention for Tony: truly a top guide, very attentive, knowledgeable, engaging.
Nairobi was great: The hotel, The New Year’s Eve celebration at The Carnivore Restaurant was amazing.
Lamu gave us incredible moments. The hotel was beautiful and Caroline, the receptionist, was excellent. The boat trip was beautiful, eating together on the boat with our hands and that fish… amazing. Manda Toto was wonderful, and spotting a dolphin was the cherry on top. Our guide in Lamu was also excellent: engaging and knowledgeable
We enjoyed Lamu more than Diani Beach (also because of the tides we experienced in Diani). The restaurant you recommended and booked for us: “Ali Barbour's Cave Restaurant” (the one inside the natural cave) was amazing.
It was a truly beautiful, intense trip full of memories. Thank you for organizing and supporting us, for your patience, and for answering all our questions. It’s definitely an experience we’ll carry with us for a long time.

Back in 2023, we booked a family trip to Kenya and Tanzania with Go Africa, and it truly turned out to be the trip of a lifetime. Everything was so thoughtfully planned and seamlessly organised that we were able to completely relax and just enjoy every moment together.
The safaris were absolutely unforgettable, every lodge we stayed in was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located. The guides were knowledgeable, warm, and engaging, which made the whole experience even more special. They went above and beyond to make sure our family felt looked after and informed.
Any questions we had before and during the trip were answered quickly. It all felt effortless on our side, which, as any parent knows, is priceless when travelling as a family!
We can’t believe we forgot to leave a review at the time, but as we’re now in the early stages of planning another African adventure, Go Africa immediately came to mind. Our previous trip was simply perfect, and we’re booking with them again.
