Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative. After a smooth meet-and-greet, you’ll be transferred in comfort to your hotel for the night, the Ole-Sereni Hotel.

Your day begins early with a pickup from Ole Sereni in Nairobi, followed by a transfer to Wilson Airport for a 45-minute flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Important Information for the Local Flight:

• Wilson Airport offers a complimentary luggage storage facility for passengers on return flights who prefer not to carry excess luggage.
• The baggage allowance for the flight from Nairobi to Masai Mara is strictly 15 kg in soft bags (including hand luggage and cameras). Excess luggage weight is charged at USD 5 per kg.

Upon arrival in the Masai Mara, your driver-guide will meet you at the airstrip and take you on a game drive, and transfer you Naptune Mara Rianta Luxury Tented camp, where your welcome drink awaits. You will settle in and depart for your first safari. As the sun sets, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Your adventure begins at dawn with an early wake-up call, as the crisp morning air and the golden light of the African sunrise start to illuminate the sprawling plains. The morning hours are particularly magical, offering prime opportunities to witness wildlife at its most active—lions returning from their nocturnal hunts, elephants grazing in the soft morning light, and perhaps even a cheetah on the prowl. 

Around midday, you'll pause for a picnic, you can relax and take in the breathtaking surroundings.

The game drive continues into the afternoon, taking you deeper into the heart of the reserve. As the light softens and casts a warm glow over the landscape, it becomes the perfect time for photography and further exploration.

After the thrilling wildlife encounters, you'll visit a Maasai village, offering a unique opportunity to engage with the local Maasai people and learn about their rich cultural heritage.

As the sun sets, you'll return to the comfort of the Neptune Mara Rianta Luxury Tented Camp. Unwind in the serene environment of your luxury tent, watch the hippos roaming around the river, from your tents deck.Enjoy an all inclusive dinner. 

As the first light of dawn graces the horizon, we embark on a morning game drive at the camp's Wildlife Private Conservancy. This early morning expedition offers a prime opportunity to witness the savannah come to life as the animals begin their day. With the guidance of our experienced guide, traverse the rugged terrain in search of elusive predators and elusive prey. 

After a thrilling morning of exploration, we return to our accommodation for breakfast. Following breakfast, prepare for a guided nature walk, offering a more intimate perspective of the bushveld. Led by our knowledgeable guide, this immersive experience allows you to connect with nature on a deeper level, as you learn about the intricate ecosystems and fascinating flora and fauna that call the conservancy home. Stroll along winding trails, pausing to observe tracks and signs left by passing wildlife, and soaking in the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

You willl be transferred the airstrip in Masai Mara, where a scenic flight awaits to whisk us away to Nairobi Wilson Airport. 

Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, we will transport you to Jomo Kenyatta Airport or any other spot within Nairobi. This is where we’ll bid you farewell, until your next African adventure.
