Enjoy an immersive Masai Mara safari by staying inside the Masai Mara Reserve at Mara Elatia Camp, a comfortable tented camp located deep within the heart of the park. Staying inside the reserve puts you closer to wildlife, allows for longer and earlier game drives by eliminating the long drives to and from the reserve.

Perfectly positioned along the Mara River and within key wildlife corridors, Mara Elatia Camp provides a peaceful, private setting where animals are often seen wandering nearby. Accommodation consists of spacious en-suite safari tents with comfortable beds, hot showers, solar-powered lighting, and private decks overlooking the bush, perfect for sunrise or sunset wildlife viewing.

Good To Know

Best Time to visit: The best time to visit the Masai Mara is during the dry season from July to October, which coincides with the Great Migration. Kenya’s rainy season runs from March to May, with April being the wettest month. While the scenery is lush and crowds are minimal, heavy rains can make some roads difficult to navigate.
All-Inclusive: This package covers your meals, drinks (soft drinks and alcohol), daily game drives, park fees, and transfers. Extras such as spa treatments, and gratuities are not included.
Vaccinations:
Yellow Fever: Kenya does not require any mandatory vaccinations for entry. However, a yellow fever certificate is required if you’re arriving from a country where yellow fever is present. The vaccine is also strongly recommended for travelers visiting regions outside Nairobi and the coast.
Malaria: Antimalarial medication and mosquito precautions (repellent, long sleeves) are advised.
Tipping Etiquette: Tipping is customary and greatly appreciated. We recommend $10–$15 per guest per day for your guide, and $5–$10 per day for lodge staff
Visa Requirements: As of January 2024, Kenya has implemented an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system for all foreign visitors. Travelers must apply online via the official portal: etakenya.go.ke. The eTA is valid for a single entry of up to 90 days. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
