1. Best Time to Visit Kenya
This hosted safari has been carefully scheduled to coincide with some of the best times of the year to experience Kenya's wildlife. By combining Amboseli National Park and the Masai Mara, you'll experience two of Africa's most iconic safari destinations in a single journey.
• June to October – Best for the Great Migration & dry season safaris
This is one of Kenya's premier safari seasons. Wildlife is easier to spot as vegetation is less dense, while the Masai Mara hosts the spectacular Great Migration from around July to October. Amboseli also offers excellent elephant viewing and frequent clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
• November to December – Best for quieter safaris & green landscapes
The short rains bring fresh green scenery, excellent birdlife and fewer visitors. Wildlife remains abundant, making this a wonderful time for travellers seeking a more peaceful safari experience.
• January to March – Best for photography & warm weather
This is another outstanding safari season, with warm days, excellent wildlife viewing and clear skies. Amboseli is particularly rewarding for photography, while the Masai Mara continues to offer exceptional resident wildlife throughout the year.
Every departure has been selected to maximise wildlife viewing while avoiding unnecessary travel time, thanks to scheduled bush flights between destinations.
