Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your private driver-guide, who will be waiting with a personalised sign for easy identification. After a relaxed meet-and-greet, you will be escorted to your private vehicle for the journey to Arusha.

After breakfast at Meliá Arusha, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport, for your bush flight to the Serengeti. Leaving Arusha behind, the flight offers a spectacular aerial perspective of northern Tanzania.

On arrival in the Serengeti, with no need to wait for a transfer to camp, your safari starts from the moment you land.

The Serengeti is home to one of Africa’s greatest concentrations of wildlife. As you make your way through the plains, keep watch for lions resting beneath acacia trees, elephants moving across the grasslands, giraffes browsing in the distance and large herds of zebra and wildebeest.

Begin the day with an early breakfast at Serengeti Migration Camp by Elewana before setting out for a final morning game drive through the Serengeti. This is another opportunity to explore the plains while wildlife is active, with your guide adapting the route according to recent sightings and animal movements.

From the Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After your morning safari, leave the Serengeti behind and begin the scenic journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape gradually changes as you travel from the open plains into the lush highlands, offering a fascinating contrast to the environment you have experienced over the previous days.

Along the way, there may be opportunities to stop and enjoy the scenery, observe local life and appreciate the changing landscapes of northern Tanzania. The journey itself becomes part of the experience, connecting two of the region’s most remarkable wildlife destinations.
