Keep your eyes open for lions resting in the shade, giraffes moving gracefully through the acacia forests, and a variety of antelope and bird species that make this park their home.

Return to Tarangire Treetops as the sun begins to set, where the elevated suites provide a peaceful retreat overlooking the surrounding wilderness.

Game Drive in Tarangire

After breakfast, set out for another day of discovery in the remarkable landscapes of Tarangire National Park. Each safari offers a different perspective of the wilderness. .

Discover Maasai Traditions

Return to camp for lunch before visiting a nearby Maasai village, where you will gain insight into the traditions and daily life of one of Tanzania’s most iconic communities. This cultural encounter offers the opportunity to learn about Maasai customs, their connection with the land, traditional homes, livestock, and the values that have been passed down through generations. 

Sundowner and Night Safari

Later in the afternoon, return to the park for another game drive as the golden light transforms the landscape. Pause for sundowners in the bush, enjoying refreshments while watching the sunset over the wilderness.

As darkness falls, embark on an exciting night game drive, offering a rare opportunity to experience Tarangire after sunset. With the help of spotlights, you may encounter nocturnal species such as bush babies, civets, porcupines, and predators becoming active under the cover of night.

The cool morning air brings increased activity, and you may encounter predators returning from their nightly hunts, large herbivore herds beginning their day, or birds of prey soaring above the grasslands.

Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred back to Arusha Coffee Lodge, where a day room may be arranged depending on availability and your international flight schedule. This provides a comfortable space to relax, refresh, and enjoy the final moments of your Tanzanian journey.

Take time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the coffee estate, explore the gardens, enjoy a leisurely meal, or simply unwind before your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport. At the appropriate time, a private transfer will take you to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
