Overview

Our 8 day game drive safari starts from Arusha National Park, a small but beautiful Tanzanian National Park is the closest national park to both Arusha town as well as Kilimanjaro International Airport. We shall tour other major national parks and renown game reserves on the northern region of Tanzania. They include Tarangire National Park, Lake Eyasi, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro conservation area. Get to see magical wonders of the wild like tree climbing lions of Tarangire, spot the black-and-white colobus monkeys, hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, bushbucks, hyenas and leopards. Also more than 400 bird species. These destinations provide a lovely atmosphere for an ideal game safari. Apart from these, visitors will have pleasure of having other exciting activities like canoeing, mountain biking, a short walk or a unique Treetop Walk and also interacting with local indigenous communities. Day 1 of Tour

  • The closest National Park to Arusha,32 km away.
  • One of the smallest park with 542 sq km in size which consists of three spectacular features,The Momella Lakes,Mt Meru and Ngurdoto Crater.
  • Mt Meru is the 2nd highest in Tanzania and 5th in Africa.
  • On clear days magnificent views of Mt Kilimanjaro can be seen from almost any part of the park.
  • The vegetation and wildlife varies with the topography which ranges from fprest to swamp.
  • A lot of birdlife both migrants and residents like flamingos
  • Black and white colabus monkeys the park icon also baboons, buffalos,giraffes,hippos,warhogs,zebras and wide range  of antelopes including dik dik,waterbucks and duikers.
  • Best place to do a walking safari accompanied by armed ranger.
  • Mountain hiking 3 to 4 days adventures
  • Canoeing is possible with prior arrangements on small Momella lake
  • After lunch drive to tarangire about 152 km for dinner and overnight at Tarangire camp.

Day 2 of Tour

  • Early morning game drive in tarangire for the sunrise
  • Tarangire gets its name from the river that threads its way through the Park.
  • Its the best place to see the Elephants and the Baobab trees.
  • It is famous for its dense wildlife population which is most spectacular from June which is the dry season. During this time thousands of animals (elephants, buffalos, giraffes, elands, hartebeest and wildebeest, zebras) migrate from dry Masai Steppe to Tarangire river looking for water. These are followed by predators like lions and leopards
  • It is also one of the few places in Tanzania where you can find Oryx, Greater and Lasser Kudus and occasionally, some  wild dogs.
  • It is also the birder's paradise with more resident breeding species than any where else in Tanzania. Raptors are everwhere. The Martial and Bateleur eagles, down to the tiny but vicious Pygmy falcon.
  • We will enjoy lunch in the Park and take a late afternoon drive to Lake Manyara for overnight stay.

Day 4 of Tour

  • Full day in lake eyasi for Bushmen and Datoga tribes for excursions.
  • This tribe are hunters and gatherers.
  • Here you will have chance to have a short walk with bushmen for hunting and collecting roots and fruits
  • Also we will  see their traditional dances
  • Also you will have chance to see Datoga tribe who are blacksmiths(melting metals to make some tools).
  • We will also visit Lake Eyasi for the sunset late afternoon
  • Dinner and overnight at Kijiji camp.

Day 5 of Tour

  • After breakfast, we will set off for Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro with picnic lunch, and wildlife game drives enroute.
  • There will be an afternoon wildlife game drive through the Serengeti Central Park.
  • Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s oldest and most popular.
  • It is a UNESCO world heritage site.
  • Serengeti means endless plain in the Maasai language.
  • Serengeti is famed for its annual migration where approximately two million (wildbeast, zebras, gazelles) roaming beautiful landscapes and  the open plains.
  • Serengeti offers an exotic game viewing experience in the whole of Africa giving you an up-close look of the animals you've only seen on TV Channels like the National Geographic Documentaries. These include but not limited to: herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants. giraffes, thousands of elands, topis, kongonis, impalas and gazelles.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Seronera Camp.

Day 6 of Tour

  • Full day game drive in Serengeti
  • Early morning game drive at 5:45am. This is aimed at catching the sunrise.
  • We pause to have breadfast. 
  • Enjoy a senery of outsized ostriches, secretary birds of the open grassland, eagles and vultures soaring above the sky.
  • Also you will have chance to see the crocodiles and hippos in the Seronera and Grumeti rivers.
  • Hot lunch at the Camp then ready for the late afrernoom game drive with sunset.
  • On this day, we will be able to see hippopotamus and crocodiles, more cats and antelopes.
  • Also you will have an option to do a balloon Safari.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Seronera Camp.

Day 8 of Tour

  • Early morning breakfast and descend to Crater floor.

  • Crater is just a small part of Ngorongoro Conservation Area which offers a whole range of attractions for the adventure traveller.

  • It is the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. It is 19km in diameter, 610m deep and covers a 304sqkm area.

  • Crater floor accomodates a large resident population of wildlife (around 25,000). These are mainly grazers like wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, bufallos, elands and black rhinos.

  • Also we will have chance to see lions. Lions are abundant with at least 5 prides of between 10 to 20 animals, each defending its own territory.

  • Lunch in Crater and late afternoon drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
